Here I am !

Yes, I am here ! I am here just to express what I feel I need to. Expressions never expect its success or failure, it only attempt to get noticed.

I enjoy expressing myself, but prefer a pen and my fingers than my lips and breath in doing that. I love to spend long leisurely hours at any reclusive valley in the Himalayas after miles of silent trek, but prefer my beloved whistling a soft tune that a tiny bird sang for us somewhere someday in the past.

Here I am just to express myself–just to reminisce about some silent walks and a few moments of losing identity…..

A travelogue, I hope you will enjoy……………..

  3. I want to visit Madmheswar Temple. I would like to know the rute map and the best season to visit the temple. I am 63 year old.

    Sisir Gupta

  4. Respected Mr. Gupta,

Thanks for visiting me here. For Madmaheswar, the best time is early October. May is okay, but there is much rush during that time for being Chardham season. So I would suggest for the former. The route is quite frequented and beautiful. You will find details of it in Trikedar on my page. Only hard part of trekking falls in Bantoli to Madmaheswar stretch. But, other than regular trekkers, most take an overnight halt at Gondar or Bantoli and finish the rest on the following day. Although guide is not necessary, but considering your age and assuming you are new to this route, I would suggest you to take assistance of a guide from Ransi. If you need any further info, please let me know at saibalbarman@gmail.com
    With regards,

  5. Hello Mr. Burman,
Myself alongwith my friend Anirvan had the introduction with you and your family during our Sep 2008 trekking to Madmaheswar. If you remember, we stayed in the room just adjacent to the room you were in in Mandir committe guest house. Madmaheswar was our first trekking venture. Wherever we will head next, we will get our plan verified with you. Hope, we will get your guidance.
    Regards,
    Arunava

  6. Yes, Mr. Mazumdar, I remember both of you…
    Thanks for dropping over here…
    Best wishes,
